When one of Menorca’s beach isn’t enough there some alternative outdoor activities to keep the family entertained, try your hand at horse riding or mounting biking and discover Menorca's glorious countryside or visit one of Menorca’s secluded beaches by Kayak or paddleboard, suitable and fun for all ages.

Learn about Menorca’s prehistoric past and its ancient civilations by exporing one of the many Bronze Age and Iron Age settlements that include megalithic monuments only found in Menorca.

Even when the Menorcan weather changes there is still plenty of indoor activities to keep everyone entertained. Learn about Menorca’s rich military history at the Military Museum at Es Castel or visit the Museum of Menorca in Mahon thats includes findings from the prehistoric sites.

If you're looking for some adrenaline on your family holiday there really isn't anything like a water park to keep your kids entertained and there are two available on the island. AquaCenter is located in Cala Blanes, a small but well maintained waterpark suitable for the young to mid-teens. AquaRock is an alternative waterpark located in the resort of Cala Bosch, also for similar age group but also has a go karting track nearby.

For those little solders visit the British built Fort Marlborough that dates back to the 18th century; re-enactments with uniformed soldiers and special effects add to a fabulous day out. For animal lovers there is Menorca’s Zoo, Lloc de Menorca where you’ll find animals native to Menorca as well as others from all over the world.
