Punta Prima is location in the south east corner of Menorca and in the municipality district of Sant Lluis. Mahon is just 10km away so a journey from the airport is approximately 25 minutes. Nearby resorts include Binibeca and S’algar and are just 5-6km away by road.

Punta Prima is another good sized Menorca resort catering well for both families and couples and is a favorite amongst our friends. The resort has a mix of private villas and apartments, as well as several hotels situated around the resort including the Insotel Punta Prima resort and Spa and Barcelo Pueblo hotels.

The center of Punta Prima, adjacent to the beach is where you’ll find a good selection of restaurants offering a good range of international cuisine and Mediterranean dishes, as well as several bars with some offering play areas for children.

There are two small and one large supermarket in Punta Prima and there is a street market twice a week where you can buy locally made items and even have your hair braided. There is a chemist open 7 days a week and 24 hour doctors surgery. The resort has an ATM machine.

There are several shops near to the beach that offer a collection of accessories for the beach as well as numerous souvenirs from Menorca. There is also a car hire service located in the resort.

The resort and beach overlooks the famous “Isla Del Aire” a small island with a lighthouse and small harbor for yachts and home to the famous black lizard.

The resort has a train service that travels the coast from Punta Prima to Binibeca. There are also a very good bus services to and from Mahon via Sant Lluis.
